Is there a fee to purchase a gift card?
There is a $2.50 processing fee per card.

Does the gift card ever expire?
The gift card does not expire and will retain a full balance for 1 year. A $2.50 fee will be deducted monthly from the Gift Card balance starting the 1st day after 1 year of inactivity (Account Maintenance Fee), until the balance is gone. Activity means any action resulting in a change in the Gift Card balance, other than fee imposition, or adjustment due to error or prior transaction reversal. Your current Card balance is available 24 hours a day online at www.getmybalance.com or by calling 800-755-0085.

How can a customer find the available balance on the gift card?
The value of the gift card will be written on the back of the gift card and may be listed with the materials that came with the gift card at the time of purchase. Your current Card balance is available 24 hours a day online at www.getmybalance.com or by calling 800-755-0085.

Is there a limit to the number of gift cards that can be purchased?
For order over $500 and/or more than ten cards, please contact Customer Service at customerservice@downtownstl.org or 314-436-6500.

What are the shipping options and requirements?
Orders can be shipped UPS Local Next-Day Ground (MO & IL only), UPS Ground (2 to 4 days), UPS Next-Day Air, or the orders can be picked up. Pick-up must be done at the Partnership’s office at 720 Olive St., Suite 450 (Laclede Gas Building) between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays).
• Orders will be processed within the next business day.
• Please note we cannot ship to a P.O. Box.
• Due to internet regulations, we are not permitted to ship to CT, HI, ME, NH, NY, RI, VT.
• Orders over $150 must be shipped only to the purchasing card billing address.

What if the gift card is declined?
If a transaction is declined, the customer should check the balance (see, “How can a customer find the available balance on the gift card?”), tell the cashier how much is available on the gift card to use towards the purchase, and pay the remainder with another form of payment.

Is there a fee to transfer the balance from one gift card to another?
Yes, there is a $5.00 fee to transfer the balance from one gift card to another.

Can the cardholder re-load the gift card by putting more money on it?
No, the gift card is not re-loadable. However, returns and credits can be applied.

What if the gift card is lost or stolen?

Can the gift card be used gratuities, at an ATM, or “Pay at the Pump Gasoline”?
No. The gift card cannot be used for tips or gratuities, at ATMs, or Pay at Pump Gasoline.

Can the gift card be used online, for mail orders, or phone order purchases?
No. The gift card will decline if these types of purchases are attempted.

How are returns, exchanges, or disputes handled?
Merchants may credit gift cards, subject to their return policy, back to the gift card used to make the original purchase. For this reason, it is very important that customers keep gift cards and receipts. Funds credited by the merchant will be available 3-5 days after the return is processed. If the gift card is not present, the merchant may issue a store credit, store valued gift card or exchange. Please note that voided transactions may take up to 7 days to be credited back to the gift card’s available balance.
